"I discovered that chiropractic is so much more than treating back pain, but has so much more to offer, such as helping people restore their health and vitality. Children benefit the most, since while growing up they develope their spine and nerve system."
Dr. Bjargo utilizes a holistic approach to your health, incorporating his knowledge of nutrition and exercise as part of the wellness platform.
"My mission is to spread the chiropractic message and help the next generation reach their full potential."
I was born in Greece and raised in one of the most beautiful Greek islands, Corfu.
After 5 years of studying at the Technological Educational Institute of Athens I graduated with Physiotherapy degree in 2010. Not feeling like I had fulfilled my studying potential I moved to England and did another 5 years of studying. I proudly received my Masters Degree in Chiropractic from the Anglo-European College of Chiropractic (AECC) in Bournemouth, in 2015.
I have always been an eager traveler and I have been able to combine my love of chiropractic with my love of travelling. In 2014 and 2016 I was fortunate enough to join the team of chiropractors travelling to Haiti with Mission Life International. This entailed serving as a chiropractor, by not only explaining the vitalistic health message, but also providing chiropractic care in a place where living and working conditions were poor, which in return affects their health and well being. We helped the less fortunate people and also went and adjusted the children and staff in the orphanages.
This is only a small example of my love for chiropractic and my passion to help as many people as possible with chiropractic care.
Chiropractic is based on 4 simple ideas:
I strongly believe that Chiropractic care is beneficial for everyone. It is a lifestyle choice that aims to maximize the function of the body and not just improve symptomatic areas. This in return will lead us to a healthier, happier and an improved way of life.
“While other professions are concerned with changing the environment to suit the weakened body, chiropractic is concerned with strengthening the body to suit the environment.” - B.J. Palmer, the Developer of Chiropractic

In 2010, whilst being pregnant with Zelma, Melissa opened Salu Salu across the street from Advanced Chiropractic. Here she gathered some top notch therapists offering Pilates, Yoga, Massage, Acupuncture and Shiatsu, just to mention some. The intention was to create a place for personal growth in body, mind and spirit.
Melissa is a busy mother, who has since May 2011, created a health shop full of goodies like vitamins, organic food, superfoods and skin products. Elaine is from Scotland but has been living abroad for the last 20 years. She has lived in the Canaries, Tunisa, Austria, Florida, and Italy before she settled down here in 2007 with her daughter Isabela.
Elaine loves to care for people and before she started at Advanced Chiropractic she worked at Hush Beauty Salon in Albir.
My first contact with the Advanced Chiropractic was when looking for someone who could help my mother who was quite ill.
Little by little I got to know more about alternative ways to improve and heal your body and soul.
After a while I met others who were closer to what today is what I love: "help others to love and respect themselves".
A very interesting woman who was also helping my mother with acupuncture told me about the world of the massage and that's how I started doing different courses to dive myself into that world.
Now I work at the Advanced Chiropractic helping lots of people.
