"We never know how far reaching the things we say, think or do may affect the lives of millions tomorrow” - BJ Palmer

On your initial visits to Costa Blanca Chiropractic Center your experience can be divided into 5 main steps:

Consultation | Chiropractic Examination & other tests | Radiography & X-analysis
Report of Findings | Chiropractic Care

Consultation

The most important question for your doctor to answer is whether or not you are a candidate for care in their office.

Chiropractors are interested in trying to completely understand your health condition. They will ask you questions related to how your condition started, what makes your symptoms better or worse, the severity of your symptoms, how long you have had them and other related aspects of your health condition.

Chiropractic Examination & Other Tests

The examination follows your consultation and includes instrumentation, motion palpation, visualization, neurological tests and x-ray. Using this data, we will then be able to clearly explain if your particular case will respond to chiropractic care. If we find that another form of care would suit you better, you will be referred to the appropriate professional.

Radiography & X-Rays Analysis

233 X-Rays, MRIs, CT scans can be extremely helpful. These provide your chiropractor with an accurate picture of the severity and length of time your spinal problem has been present. This will enable your chiropractor to determine if you are in the right place and whether it is safe to proceed with your care. X-rays also provide information that will assist your chiropractor in giving you a prognosis and plan of care.

Report On Findings

Upon completion of the chiropractic examination and x-rays, an assessment of your status will be given to you in what is known as the "Reports of findings" (R.O.F.). During the R.O.F. your chiropractor will discuss your case, your care plan; including the duration and number of visits you would need for optimal recovery.

Chiropractic Care - The Specific Adjustment

Once your chiropractor has clear understanding of your health and spinal condition, he will begin the process of correcting the subluxations (nerve pressure) in your spine. The correction of a subluxation is called a chiropractic adjustment. An adjustment is a gentle, non-invasive procedure where a specific force is applied to the joint that is subluxated. This improves the function of the spine and decreases the pressure on the involve nerve. Proper nerve function allows the body to heal in order to return to normal function and health. IMG 8533
