My name is Antoinette van Belle. I have more than 20 years of experience in the fields of yoga and meditation, shiatsu therapy, and holistic massage. I trained both in England and in Holland, have conducted workshops and classes, and have run my own practice both in Holland and in Spain, where I have lived for the last 8 years. I speak English, Dutch and Spanish. I am currently teaching Dru Yoga in Salu Salu where I am also working as a Shiatsu therapist.
Dru Yoga is a graceful and potent form of yoga, it works on body, mind and spirit, improving strength, flexibility and posture, creating core stability and deeply relaxing and revitalizing your whole being.
In my classes I work with a warm-up, Energy Block Release (EBR), powerful, flowing sequences, pranayama (conscious breathing), positive affirmation, deep relaxation and meditation. Dru Yoga is fun and can be practiced by everybody, you do not need any previous experience.
Shiatsu is a manual therapy, originally from Japan. Through pressure on acupuncture points and along energy channels known as meridians it aims at releasing energy blocks in the body and allowing vital energy to flow freely. Treatments take place on the floor on a futon (Japanese mattress), the client wears loose comfortable clothing and in my treatments I work with a variety of techniques such as pressure, stretching, mobilizing joints and conscious breathing.
I am delighted to have joined Dr. Aleks Bjargo and his team and I believe that together we offer a wide variety of therapies to our local community.
